Slot – A Slot is a Slit in a Page

A slit or narrow opening.

Slots are dynamic placeholders on a page that either wait for content (passive slots) or call out for it (active slots). Scenarios use them to provide reusable logic and visual output, while renderers specify how the content should be displayed. The v-slot directive encapsulates both of these uses, allowing the use of declarative scoped slots in manual render functions.
