What Is a Slot?

A slot is a container that displays dynamic items on a Web page. A slot’s content is dictated by either a scenario that uses the Add Items to Slot action or a targeter that specifies a repository of items to fill the slot with. A slot also enables child scopes to pass props to it when rendering, much like how you would use a manual render function with the v-slot directive.
